FMCSA & DOT Compliance Disclosure

Buchanan Hauling & Rigging, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our”) operates DriveBuchanan.com to recruit drivers, including company drivers, owner-operators, team drivers, and lease drivers. All applicants must comply with federal and state regulations.

1. Licensing Requirements

• Drivers must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) appropriate for the equipment they will operate.
• Drivers are responsible for maintaining proper endorsements, renewals, and compliance with state requirements.

2. FMCSA & DOT Compliance

• Drivers must comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including Hours-of-Service (HOS), electronic logging device (ELD) requirements, and medical qualifications.
• Failure to maintain compliance may result in disqualification from employment or programs.

3. Drug & Alcohol Testing

• All drivers are subject to DOT-mandated drug and alcohol testing programs.
• Positive test results, refusals, or failure to follow testing protocols may result in immediate disqualification or termination.

4. Safety & Reporting

• Drivers must report any violations, accidents, or incidents according to Company procedures.
• Non-compliance may lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
