Does Buchanan have automatic trucks only?

No. Buchanan should not be described as having an automatic only fleet. Truck equipment can vary by position and assignment. While we do have manual trucks within our company fleet, the newer trucks on the market are coming to us as automatics. Since we strive to keep our drivers in newer equipment, it is likely that a driver could be placed with a truck with an automatic transmission. For certain flatbed, step deck, RGN, and heavy haul positions we might specifically state that applicants must not have an automatic transmission restriction. Drivers concerned about transmission type should confirm the equipment assigned to a current opening with Buchanan recruiting before applying.
